Union Ministry of Cooperation Secretary Ashish Bhutani embarked on a tour to Anand, Gujarat last week, during which he visited Mujkuva Dairy Cooperative Society and engaged in discussions with members of Sakhi Khad Sahakari Mahila Mandali.
Bhutani also toured the headquarters of Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF) and the offices of the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB). Accompanying him was Additional Secretary Pankaj Bansal. Bhutani received a warm welcome from GCMMF MD Jayen Mehta, NDDB Chairman Meenesh Shah, and others.
During his visit, Bhutani explored the diverse range of products offered by Amul to consumers. He also visited the Amul Dairy plant, where Dr. Amit Vyas, MD of Amul Dairy, provided insights into the rich history of Amul’s establishment and the villages it encompasses.
Furthermore, Bhutani toured the Tribhuvandas Food Complex, where Amul Dairy processes and packages a wide array of chocolates and other products.
To showcase ongoing scientific methods, including ET-IVF, a visit to the Bovine Breeding Research Center at Mogar was also organized for the dignitaries.
