The Union Ministry of Cooperation released a vacancy circular for filling up the post of Director of Pune based prestigious cooperative institution-Vamnicom, as the existing director Hema Yadav tenure is coming to an end.
It bears recalling that Hema Yadav joined as the director of Vamnicom in April 2021 and her tenure will be completed in a couple of days.
Meanwhile, the MoC released a vacancy circular for filling up the post of director on deputation failing which on contract basis for a period of three years, through the search cum selection process. The circular was issued by the MoC Director Kapil Meena.
The circular reads, “The essential eligibility criteria for appointment to the post of Director (VAMNICOM) are -“Full time Post Graduate Degree/Diploma with minimum 55% marks in SocialScience/ Economics/ Cooperation/ Commerce/ Business Administration /Agriculture /Information University or institute Technology from a recognized”, it reads.
“The Desirable, PhD in relevant subject and HDCM/Diploma/PG Diploma in Cooperative Management. Essential experience, Minimum 15 years Administrative & Academic experience in senior executive capacity or Head of the Institutions, in recognized University/Institute/Cooperative Training Organization/Cooperative Institute/ Cooperative Department/Govt. organizations/Semi Govt./PSUs/Autonomous Body and holding analogous post on the basis in parent cadre or department”, the circular added.
It further said, “The deputation with NCCT/Vamnicom will be foreign service terms and conditions. The period of deputation (including short term contract) period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment, in the same or some other Organization/Department of the GOI shall ordinarily not exceed three years”, the circular informed.
The maximum age limit for his appointment by deputation/including short term contract should not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of the receipt of the applications.
It is worth mentioning that in her three years of tenure, Hema Yadav, Director, Vamnicom has been credited with launching many new things. Recently, a new International Trainees Hostel at Vamnicom was inaugurated by the Union Ministry of State for Cooperation BL Verma.
She is also credited for playing an active role in preparation of a book namely, ‘Collective Prosperity: The legacy of India Cooperatives”, which was released by Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Most important is that Ms. Yadav with her team also played an important role in the compilation of the Draft report on National Cooperative Policy.
