The apex body of cooperatives- NCUI’s Cooperative Extension & Advisory Services (CEAS), in collaboration with Birsa Agricultural University (BAU), Ranchi, recently organized a one-day Awareness-cum-Orientation program for 60 students of BSc Agriculture & Agri-Business Management (ABM).
This initiative aimed to foster collaboration with universities, enhance cooperative awareness & introduce many opportunities for building a rewarding career.
NCUI Research Officer, Dr Shrija Sinha, shared insights into the fundamentals of cooperatives & the requisite skill sets to become essential human resources for this sector.
Dr Sinha also introduced the students to the innovative online learning portal – ‘CEAS-LMS Portal’, while Dr Sagar Wadkar, Advisor (Research & Study, NCUI discussed various initiatives undertaken by Ministry of Cooperation & NCUI, highlighting diverse job & entrepreneurial opportunities in the coop sector for youth.
