A news outlet reports that Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is in the spotlight over its deposit of Rs10 crore in the Tirupati Cooperative Bank.
Many people say it was politically motivated and in violation of the TTD Act provision.
However, the TTD has strongly defended its decision arguing it was arrived at through all due processes.
The TTD also has deposits in the AP Cooperative Bank.
