Popular officer of MoC, Kapil Meena, a Sikkim Cadre 2010 batch IAS has been re-designated from the post of the deputy secretary, Ministry of Cooperation as Director in the MoC. The order of his re-designation was released on Monday.
It reads, “The Competent Authority has approved the proposal of M/o Cooperation for re- designation of the post of Deputy Secretary in the M/o Cooperation presently held by Shri Kapil Meena, IAS (SK:2010), as Director, M/o Cooperation as a measure personal to him with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the re-designated post and for a period up to 17.01.2027 ie total tenure of five years under the Central Staffing Scheme.
“Shri Kapil Meena, IAS (SK:2010) counts his central deputation tenure w.e.f.”, it further reads.
It bears recall that Kapil Meena was appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Cooperation, Delhi under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of four years from the date of taking over charge of the post in 2022.
