NAFED-NCCF part of Seminar tomorrow; Shah, Chief Guest

A National Seminar themed “Prosperity through Cooperation” with a focus on self-reliance in pulses would take place tomorrow at Vigyan Bhawan with Amit Shah as the Chief Guest.

The other distinguished guests would be Piyush Goyal and Arjun Munda. The role of two apex co-op bodies NAFED and NCCF, among others in the production of pulse would be the highlights of the Seminar. How collaboration and self-sufficiency in pulse production can lead to sustainable growth and what is the significance of cooperative strategies in this field would be discussed, sources add.

The seminar aims to serve as a platform for experts, policymakers, and practitioners to exchange ideas on promoting cooperative values and practices in different sectors. Discussions covered topics ranging from the role of technology in cooperative development to policy measures aimed at encouraging collaboration among various stakeholders.

In conclusion, the National Seminar aims to bring together minds committed to the idea that collaboration and self-reliance, particularly in pulses, can pave the way for a more prosperous and sustainable future for the agricultural landscape of India.
