The commencement of the new year has brought positive developments for Shreya Guha, a senior IAS officer and Principal Secretary Cooperation. She has recently been elevated to the position of Additional Chief Secretary in the Cooperative Department of Rajasthan.
On Sunday, the Department of Personnel issued a promotion order affecting 43 IAS officers. Guha, a 1994-batch IAS officer of the Rajasthan cadre, holds positions on the boards of IFFCO and Nafed. Additionally, she serves as an administrator at the Rajasthan State Cooperative Bank and Rajasthan State Cooperative Marketing Federation (RAJFED).
Formerly posted as the Principal Secretary of Tourism Arts and Culture in the Government of Rajasthan, Guha also took on the role of Director General at Jawahar Kala Kendra. She has a background as the Director of the Department of Financial Service.
Known for her active involvement in cooperative circles, Guha played a significant role in organizing the Nafscob conference in Jaipur last year.
