Media reports say Anil Lobo, chairman of the MCC Bank has been selected for the ‘Sahakari Ratna’ state level award for the year 2023.
According to a press release issued by Karnataka State Co-Operative Federation, the effort Anil Lobo has put in to take the cooperative movement in Dakshina Kannada to the people through cooperative chain, has made him eligible for the award.
The award will be presented at the valedictory function of the 70th anniversary of the All India Co-operative Movement Week which will be held in VijayaPura district.
The other awardees include Monappa Shetty Yekkaru, the President of Bajpe Vyavasaya Seva Sahakara Bank, B Niranjan, the President of Thanneerupanta Primary Farmers’ Cooperative Society and Umesh T Karkera, the President of Mangaluru Yantrika Meenugarara Prathamika Sahakara Sangha.
