Cooperators across the country paid tributes to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on his birth anniversary and remembered his role in raising Gujarat based Kaira District Co-operative Milk Producers’ Union (Amul).
NCUI and IFFCO Chairman Dileepbhai Sanghani also paid tributes to Patel at the Gujcomasol headquarters, Gandhinagar.
Paying tributes to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the ‘Ironman of India’ on his 148th Birth Anniversary at Sardar Patel Auditorium, Amul organized a glittering function attended by NDDB Chairman and Managing Director Dr. Meenesh Shah, Minister of State for Communications, Govt of India, Devusinh Chauhan, Amul Dairy Chairman, Vipulbhai Patel, GCCMF MD Jayen Mehta, Amul Dairy MD Amit Vyas and others.
Besides, COBI and Gujarat State Cooperative Bank Ajaybhai Patel with local cooperators of Gujarat paid a floral tribute to Patel at Sahakar Bhavan, Kevadia, where the Statue of Unity, dedicated to Sardar Patel is built.
Union Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying Parshottam Rupala flagged off and led the ‘Run for Unity’ from the premises of Krishi Bhawan on the occasion of Sardar Patel Jayanti.
