The Pune District Cooperative Housing Societies and Apartments Federation will give priority to “awareness on redevelopment” along with promotion of environmentally sustainable issues in the housing societies, reports Indian Express.
30 percent of the 33,000 housing society buildings are due for redevelopment in the Pune district. ,
Suhas Patwardhan, chairman of the federation, says there are over 18,000 cooperative housing societies and over 15,000 apartments in the district which are registered with the federation.
