Kangra Co-op Bank: Delhi’s largest UCB performs well

The largest urban cooperative bank of Delhi-Kangra Cooperative Bank has performed well on all the financial parameters in the 2022-23 FY and earned a net profit to the tune of Rs 9.62 crore.

The business mix of the bank grew from Rs 1782 crore (2021-22) to Rs 1869 crore as on 31st March 2023. The deposits of the bank increased from Rs 1205 crore to Rs 1240 crore whereas loans/advances rose from Rs 577 crore to Rs 629 crore in the 2022-23 FY.

The Net NPA and CRAR of the bank stood at 0.60 percent and 13.77 percent respectively. As on 31st March 2023, the bank earned a gross profit of Rs 14.64 crore.

Kangra Cooperative Bank has 12 branches across Delhi and all the branches are fully computerized with CBS.

Readers would recall that the bank hogged the media headlines, when cyber hackers siphoned off Rs 7.79 crore from the Bank.
