Karnataka State Souharda Federal Cooperative organized a 7-day training program for the employees of Souharda Urban Cooperative Banks from 17th to 23rd June 2023 at Regional Institute of Cooperative Management, Padmanabhanagar, Bengaluru.
RBI General Manager Meenakshi Gad addressed the 7-day basic banking certificate course. Meenakshi Gad appreciated the training program and said that the training program organized by KSSFCL is on par with RBI training programs. She urged the participants to develop progressive thinking and emphasized the importance of women playing a leadership role in society.
KSSFCL President Nanjangouda expressed his happiness at the successful completion of the program. He called upon the students to incorporate lessons learned in a 7 days training program to their professional life. He emphasized the importance of cooperation and organization work, and wanted the students to become a back bone of the cooperative movement.
Sharanagouda G Patil, MD, KSSFCL introduced the program. There were 20 resource persons who delivered lectures on different subjects. There were 74 candidates from 6 Souharda Urban Cooperatives who did this certificate course.
The panel discussions were held on youth involvement, adoption of information technology and media by cooperatives. Those who took part in the panel discussions were, Vishwanath C Hiremath, President, Vikas souharda urban bank, Sri. Mohith Maski, President, SUCO souharda urban bank, Amrith Joshi, Director, Vikas souharda urban cooperative bank., Dr. Jayaprakash, Faculty, RICM.
MD, KSSFCL moderated the panel discussions. G Nanjangouda, President, KSSFCL graced the valedictory function.
