The election of the board of directors of the Nashik District Urban Cooperative Banks Association was unanimous.
The association board consists of 21 directors out of which 10 are new and the rest are old hands.
The election was held under the leadership of outgoing Chairman Vishwas Thakur. The Chairman and Vice-Chairman elections will be held in the 1st week of July.
The representatives of leading banks of Nashik have been elected as the directors on the board of association. Hemant Dhatrak was elected from Nashik Merchants Cooperative Bank, Dutta Namdev Gaikwad from Nasik Road Deolali Vyapari Sahakari Bank Ltd. and others were elected.
Nashik District Urban Cooperative Banks association is organizing a state level conference in collaboration with 18 UCBs association of the state. It will be a three-day conference to be organized on 22, 23 and 24th December 2023 and the organizers are planning to get it inaugurated by Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah
It is the apex body of Urban Cooperative Banks in Nashik. There are around 40 UCBs in Nashik catering to the financial needs of the general public.
