After the elections of DCCBs of Bihar, the election process of Bihar State Cooperative Bank has been started and it is slated for 8th July 2023.
The candidates can file their nomination papers from 24th June 2023 to 26th June 2023. The withdrawal of papers can be done on 01st July 2023. The counting of votes will be done soon after the voting.
The term of the last board of directors ended in April 2023 and the government has appointed Nand Kishor, IFS, Special Secretary, Bihar Cooperative Department as the administrator.
Readers would recall that a few days back 19-District Central Cooperative Banks of Bihar had gone to the polls which threw up a few surprises, though the majority of old co-op satraps retained their seats.
The elections to the state co-op banks are not likely to be a tame affair with three top leaders—Ramesh Chaubey, Mahesh Rai and the formidable Satyendra Singh in the race.
