The review meeting of the District Cooperative Development Committee was held in the presence of District Magistrate Gautam Budha Nagar at the Collectorate premises.
In the meeting District Magistrate directed officials to make special efforts to make new members in the cooperatives and cancel the membership of the inactive members of the co-ops.
“Ensure wide publicity of the schemes with the aim of benefiting the eligible farmers run through the cooperative society. Besides, computers should be made available to cooperative societies provided by NABARD”, he added.
