A case of a fraudster using bogus cooperative societies for his nefarious designs has come to light in Mumbai, reports Free Press Journal.
The Malad police have arrested the fraudster for allegedly cheating over 4,000 people by promising to double their investments. He was enrolling gullible people in fake cooperative societies.
The accused ran his business faking documents in the name of fake cooperative societies.
