The Madhya Pradesh cabinet under the chairmanship of Shivraj Singh Chouhan gave its nod for waiving off the interest of 11.19 lakh defaulters farmers of the state. The loan up to Rs 2 lakh is eligible.
The State Cooperation Minister Arvind Singh Bhadoria made the announcement. “The Madhya Pradesh cabinet approved the interest waiver scheme to waive interest amount of Rs 2123 crore of 11.19 defaulters farmers associated with the PACCs affiliated to DCCBs of the state”, Bhadoria added.
“This includes those farmers also who had applied for loan waiver in the Kamal Nath government, but could not get any benefit”, he added.
