Maharashtra based Federation of Multistate Cooperative Credit Societies (FMCCS) organized a two-day event, on Thursday and the valedictory session will be held on Friday, in which former Union Minister Suresh Prabhu would participate virtually.
“The valedictory function was supposed to be attended by Central Registrar of Cooperative Societies Vijay Kumar but due to his busy schedule he would not be able to take part in the event”, said FMCCS Chairman Suresh Wable.
He further added, the event is being held at Pushpak Resort Shirdi. In the valedictory event, RBI Central Board Director Satish Marathe, Sahakar Bharati National General Secretary Uday Joshi, JPC member Dhananjay Mahadik, Maharashtra Cooperative Registrar Anil Kawade, Buldana Urban Chairman Radheshyam Chandak and others will take part”.
The first day was marked by various discussions related to multi state cooperative societies. Around 300 participants representing 185 MSCS are taking part.
Meanwhile, during the inaugural event, representatives of MSCS demanded inclusion of multi state cooperative societies in the SARFAESI act.
