Free Press Journal reports an FIR has been registered against assistant committee manager Bane Singh posted in the Tribal Service Co-operative Society in Amba Chandan Mhow , Madhya Pradesh for swindling Rs 1,33,49,825.
The manager of the Tribal Service Cooperative Society has lodged the FIR with Kishanganj police station.
Following a complaint, the cooperative office in Indore had carried out an audit that brought the fraud to light. The accused had secured fake loans in the name of scores of farmers.
