As directed by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the state govt. has prepared a plan to expand Milkfed with a view to making the cooperative movement stronger , reports a news outlet.
The Punjab govt. will open 625 new milk booths in the state and open a permanent office in NCR to expand the scope of Verka products.
Sources say since there is a growing demand for VERKA products , the state govt. will set up nearly 1000 new booths in the state of which 625 booths will be opened in the first phase today.
It is said new booths will create jobs for youth and offer Verka products at door step.
