Hamirpur (Himachal Pradesh) Assistant Registrar Cooperative Department and Kangra Central Cooperative Bank selected 125 primary level societies in the district for doing the computerization in the first phase, reads a media report.
Reacting to this, Assistant Registrar Hamirpur E. Pratyush Chauhan said that the computerization of cooperative societies across the country is being done by the Union Ministry of Cooperation, which is being implemented under the supervision of NABARD.
This project is worth 2516 crores. The state government will bear 10 percent of the expenditure on this project in Himachal Pradesh.
