The Rajasthan High Court did not find a PIL filed for the finalization of the process of amalgamation of Farmer Service Society with the Village Service Cooperative Society to be worthy of consideration, reports India Legal.
The Court said that the petitioner has preferred this petition in his individual capacity rather than in public interest.
A private cause of such a nature involving the petitioner cannot be permitted to be raised through Public Interest Litigation, said the High Court.
