The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Mumbai police has mentioned several names of the Pawar family including former deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar in a written statement before a court, says Free Press Journal.
It is worth mentioning that the EOW plans to inquire into the alleged MSCB scam involving disbursement of loans of Rs 25,000 crore by the bank to sugar factories.
The EOW has told the court that it has found its investigation wanting in thoroughness.
