The recent elections to the governing body of Eruvessi Service Cooperative Bank in Kannur, Kerala were marred by violence, reports Times of India.
Many Congress workers were injured and Congress has accused CPM of using violence to manipulate the elections.
However, CPM has made similar allegations against Congress.
It is said communists have been able to retain control over the bank.
