Mauritius Cooperative Minister Soomilduth Bholah will visit the sprawling campus of Vamnicom at Pune today. He will be accompanied by Rabin Rampersad, CEO, SME Mauritius, Jean Daniel Philipe Labonne Deputy Permanent Secretary and Sanjeev Coonjobeeharry, Director, National Cooperatives College, Mauritius.
On this occasion, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between National Cooperatives College, Mauritius & Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Cooperative Management (VAMNICOM) will be signed.
Dr. Hema Yadav, Director, VAMNICOM, Shekhar Gaikwad, IAS, Sugar Commissioner as the Guest of Honor will also participate in the event.
The press release sent to Indian Cooperative reads, “Both the training institutes would agree to cooperate and collaborate in the areas of training, education and other knowledge based activities which would cover participation of officials from both institutes to participate in short and long duration programmes conducted by either party, Collaboration in joint research for mutual benefit, cooperation in developing any case study for benefit of both parties, exchange information materials, publications, expertise and other related matter on the subject of common interest for advancement of cooperatives”.
