Nafed is organising a national conference “Role of cooperative societies in agricultural marketing” on 22nd August at Hotel Taj in Bhopal. Union Cooperation Minister Amit Shah will be the chief guest.
Prominent figures of Madhya Pradesh and Centre including Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Chief Minister, Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, Kamal Patel, Agriculture Minister MP Govt, BL Verma MoS will attend the event.
Nafed will be represented by its Chairman Dr Bijendra Singh, Dr Chandrapal Singh Chairman KRIBHCO and Director of NAFED and Rajbir Singh Managing Director Nafed. Gyanesh Kumar Secretary, Minister of cooperation will also be present.
A short movie will be presented that will show the journey of Nafed through years on the occasion. The event will also have two technical sessions— first technical session is Discussion on the role of primary cooperatives in agricultural marketing and the second technical session is Discussion on the role of state and national cooperative organisations in agricultural marketing.
