The agri cooperative lender NCDC has provided a loan worth Rs 7166.15 lakh and Subsidy under the Central Sector Integrated Scheme on Agricultural Cooperation (CSISAC) of Rs 2976.92 lakh in the state of Madhya Pradesh in the last five years.
The information was shared by Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah while giving a reply to a query in Lok Sabha. NCDC provided Rs 10143.07 lakh (Loan and Subsidy under CSISAC) in the last five years to co-ops of Madhya Pradesh.
The Ministry of Cooperation under CSISAC has provided financial support to four Cooperative Education Field Projects (under aspirational districts) in Raghogarh, Ratlam, Ujjain and Bhopal districts of Madhya Pradesh through NCUI, his reply reads
Besides, the Integrated Cooperative Development Project (ICDP) of CSISAC Scheme Khargone Barwani Parliamentary Constituency had been given financial assistance of Rs. 807.345 lakhs in the year 1995-96.
“The total number of Multi-State Co-operative Societies registered by the Ministry of Cooperation under the Multi-State Co-operative Societies Act, 2002 in Madhya Pradesh is 29”, Shah’s reply added.
