Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Bank held its board meeting on Monday and decided to implement the recommendations of the Sixth Pay Commission for the employees of the bank.
Besides, a scheme for giving a loan worth Rs 10 lakh to cooperative societies, self-help groups, and others was also approved. The meeting was presided over by the bank Chairman Khushiram Balnatah.
It was also decided to fill 59 posts of Assistant Managers and two posts of Junior Engineers through the Public Service Commission. The amount of gratuity payable to retired employees of the bank has also been increased from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 20 lakh.
Director Sher Singh Chauhan, Priyavrat Sharma, Pitamber Negi, Ram Gopal Thakur, and others were present on the occasion.
