Krishi Jagaran reports Nashik District Central Cooperative Bank is weighed down by an outstanding due of Rs.1150 crore and is collecting dues from chronic defaulters.
Farmers recently protested the auctioning of their seized tractors by the bank.
The bank has seized 250 tractors from defaulting farmers. Some farmers were taken into custody while protesting.
