Co-operators across India celebrate 73rd R Day with gusto

On the occasion of Republic Day, the news is pouring in from across the country about cooperative leaders celebrating the 73rd Republic Day with great enthusiasm.

From national level Cooperatives to the state level to district level to village level, co-ops have unfurled the national flag at their respective premises and celebrated the day with full gusto.

In his message on the occasion, National Cooperative Union of India President Dileepbhai Sanghani said, “On this day I urge fellow co-operators to take an oath to take the cooperative movement to newer heights. Happy Republic Day!”

IFFCO Managing Director Dr. U S Awasthi wished the country well through social media and wrote, “Congratulations to everyone. Today on the auspicious occasion of 73rd #RepublicDay; #IFFCO has successfully crossed the production of 2 Crore bottles of truly #MakeInIndia innovative environment-friendly #IFFCONanoUrea for farmers across the world. @narendramodi @Dileep_Sanghani”.

Besides, IFFCO senior officials unfurled the National Flag at the IFFCO Township in Gurugram, amidst large numbers of IFFCO employees and their family members attending the celebrations.

On the occasion, Kribhco’s official Twitter handle wrote, “KRIBHCO wishes everyone a very happy #RepublicDay”.

NCDC’s MD Sundeep Nayak unfurled the national flag at its headquarters in New Delhi in the presence of senior officials and shared the photos on social media. He wrote, “Republic Day Celebrations at National Cooperative Development Corporation”.

The official Twitter handle of Saraswat Bank wrote, “Let’s celebrate the indomitable spirit of India, this #RepublicDay!”. Similarly, Cosmos Co-operative bank wrote, “Let us celebrate our right to protect our wealth. Cosmos Bank wishes you a Happy Republic Day!’.

News of the celebrations by cooperators also came in from Bihar, Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh, and other parts of the country. Leaders also unfurled the tricolor on the occasion.

Biscomaun Chairman, Dr. Sunil Kumar Singh also took to social media to greet the fellow cooperators and wrote, “Hearty congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of Republic Day”.

Many Uttarakhand-based cooperative institutions including Uttarakhand State Cooperative Federation, Uttarakhand State Cooperative Bank, Haridwar District Cooperative Bank, and other primary level co-operatives had lined up to celebrate the Republic Day at their respective places.

Besides, Maharashtra-based Kaijs Bank unfurled the flag in the premises of the bank in the presence of bank directors and officials.

Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament from Rajasthan Rajendra Gehlot participated in the event organized by the Jodhpur Nagari Sahakari Bank on the occasion of Republic Day.

Sanjeev Kumar Mittal, IAS, Secretary (Cooperation)-cum-Registrar of Cooperative Societies of Andaman & Nicobar unfurled the National flag as a mark to the 73rd Republic Day celebrations at RCS Office. Port Blair.

The tableau from the Northeast state of Meghalaya that participated at the Republic Day parade in New Delhi on Wednesday was one of the main attractions of the event as it paid tribute to women-led cooperative societies.

The PACs spread across the country celebrated the day with full joy.

Indian Cooperative joins the nation and co-operators in wishing a happy Republic Day to the countrymen. Long live India and long live cooperative movement!
