A Joint venture between the Pune District Cooperative Milk Union (Katraj Dairy) and Ved Vasudev Prathisthan is expected to solve dairy farmers’ problems with local animals, reports Indian Express.
The joint venture will also ensure commercial usage of cow dung and urine which can be an additional source of income for the farmers.
Efforts will also be put in to evolve effective marketing strategies so as to make milk of Indian or desi animals, sell more.
