One more wicket is down. Former MLA and Chairman of Mirzapur District Central Cooperative Bank Rajendra Prasad Singh (BJP) resigned from BJP and joined the Samajwadi Party on Friday in Lucknow.
He joined the SP in the presence of former chief minister Akhilesh Yadav.
Meanwhile, the bank recently organised its Annual General Meeting which was presided over by Singh.
On the occasion, it was revealed that the bank earned a net profit of Rs 86 lakh and the total working capital of the bank was 66384.28 lakh, the total loan amounted to 16304.17 lakh and the deposit was 46298.86 lakh.
