Maharashtra BJP National Secretary Pankaja Munde congratulated the newly elected team of Deendayal Nagari Sahakari Bank for winning a huge majority, in the bank’s elections held on Sunday last week. Interestingly, Munde on the board of the bank was elected unopposed.
Congratulating the new team Munde wrote, ” I congratulate all the winning board of directors of ‘Deendayal Panel’ by a huge majority in the election of Deendayal Nagari Sahakari Bank”.
The elections on 11 seats were held out of 15 seats of the board of directors and around 2600 voters cast their votes during the elections.
The board consists of 10 directors from general category, 2 from women, 1 from schedule caste, 1 from OBC and others. In the elections, 13 candidates from the general category were in the race, and two candidates from the OBC category.
The elections of Chairman and Vice-Chairman will be held in a couple of days. Deendayal Nagari Sahakari Bank has a total business mix of Rs 750 crore and earned a net profit of Rs 1.59 crore in the 2020-21 FY.
