During the three-day national conference of Sahakar Bharti held in Lucknow recently, senior RSS leader Bhaiyya ji Joshi released a book titled “Sahakarita ke Prateek-Ram” written by Shri Santosh Kumar Sharma, former Director of NCDC.
The preface of the book has been written by Mr. Joyindra Bhai Mehta, Chairman NAFCUB, and then Patron of Sahakar Bharti. The author S K Sharma is of the opinion that there is practically no difference with the management style and value system followed by Ram and needs to be followed ideally by people in the Cooperative System.
He has elaborated on the importance of Samskaras in the life of Ram and those inbuilt in the Cooperative Philosophy. In addition, author Sharma has drawn parallel to the Seven Principles of Cooperatives as enunciated by the International Cooperative Alliance (ICA) and the administration and management ways of Ram.
The occasion also saw the release of another book by Shri Joshi. “Ramcharit Gungaan” written by Mrs. Indu Sharma. Both the books are in Hindi. While the former is written in simple verse covering the entire story of Ram within about 80 pages, the latter is purely a research work correlating the traits of Ram with the fundamentals of Cooperative philosophy.
Readers may recall that two of the books written by Mr. Santosh Sharma earlier, were released by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in Vigyan Bhavan during the Centenary Celebrations of Laxman Rao Inamdar.
