CA Yashwant Kasar, Director of The Cosmos Co-operative Bank Ltd., has been re-elected as Regional Council Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) on Western India Regional Council in the recently held elections.
The Western India Regional Council of ICAI comprises Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa. It has 1 Lakh 12 Thousand Members. CA Kasar is re-elected for the second term.
His tenure is from 2022-2025. Earlier he was the Treasurer of WIRC of ICAI. CA Kasar is well-known as tax consultant, expert on GST, orator and author too.
