Jharkhand Governor Ramesh Bais held a meeting with the functionaries of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, and Cooperatives Department to discuss the possibility of improving farming in the state, reports Pioneer.
Besides Additional Chief Secretary to the Governor, many other top officials associated with Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Cooperation attended the meeting.
Speaking in the meeting the governor asked the authorities to help farmers with improved seeds and other essential farm inputs.
The governor also directed the authorities to expedite the soil testing of the fields of the farmers as well as provide the information about the deficiencies or specialties in the soil of their fields.
