Karimnagar District Cooperative Central Bank (DCCB) had asked all PACS in Karimnagar district to take advantage of NABARD’s help for conversion into multi-service centres (MSC) in the interest of farmers, reports the daily Telangana Today.
It is in this context that leading cooperators including the TSCAB chairman had laid the foundation stone for the construction of a godown with 1,200 metric tonnes of capacity in Korutla town of Jagtial district.
It is said the state government has raised its godown storage capacity from four lakh metric tonnes to 25 lakh metric tonnes during the last seven years.
