Maharashtra State Cooperative (MSC) Bank donated Rs 1.51 crore towards the Chief Minister Relief Fund for relief and rehabilitation of flood and rain-affected people in the state last week.

The cheque was personally handed over to the State Chief Minister Uddhav Thackery by Vidyadhar Anaskar, Chairman of Administrative Board of MSC Bank at the CM residence. The bank MD Ajit Deshmukh, General Manager, Dilip Dighe, and Anant Bhuibhar were also present on the occasion.

The Chief Minister had a long discussion with Anaskar about various issues related to the bank. The CM also expressed satisfaction over the bank’s progress.

Readers would recall that the bank has earned a net profit of Rs 369 crore in the 2020-2021 FY, the highest ever in the history of the bank.
