Kerala cooperation minister V.N.Vasan says the state government will reform the audit system for cooperative banks and streamline the vigilance mechanism to check scams from happening, reports Hindu.
It is worth mentioning that a scam broke in the Karuvannur Service Cooperative Bank in Thrissur.
The minister said some senior accountants and officials of the co-op dept would work together to develop a new audit system.
