Minister greets newly appointed DCCBs’ Chairmen

Chhattisgarh Cooperative Minister Premsai Singh Tekam greeted the newly appointed Chairmen of District Central Cooperative Banks at a ceremony organized at the State Cooperative Bank headquarters at Raipur.

The newly appointed Raipur DCCB Chairman Pankaj Sharma, Durg DCCB Chairman Jawahar Verma, Bilaspur DCCB Chairman Pramod Nayak, Rajnandgaon DCCB Chairman Nawaz Khan, Ambikapur DCCB Chairman Ramdev Ram were honored by Shawls, and Shriphals, among others things..

Addressing the ceremony, the Minister said that the economy of Chhattisgarh is based on agriculture. Apart from agriculture, the main sources of income of farmers, tribals and women are forest produce collection, fisheries, animal husbandry and cottage industries.
