Uttarakhand Agriculture Minister Subodh Uniyal has virtually flagged off the IFFCO Nano Urea truck to the farmers in Uttarakhand on Thursday.
The event was held at the residence of the minister in which agriculture ministry officials, local co-operators including Susheel Rathi and others accompanied him.
IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi, Marketing Head Yogendra Kumar, Kalol Unit Head D G Digambar and others were connected virtually.
IFFCO had earlier dispatched Nano Urea shipments to Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir.
The use of Nano Urea will help increase farmers’ income, reduce input cost and enhance the quality of yield besides reducing the use of chemical fertilizers.
