Gujarat Cooperative Credit Societies Federation organised a virtual seminar on the topic ”Auditing in Cooperative Institutions” recently in Ahmedabad. G H Amin was the Chief Guest.
Speaking on the occasion, Amin, who is the Chairman of both Gujarat Co-op Credit Societies Federation and Gujarat State Cooperative Union, said “auditing is an x-ray of institutions which provides for compliance of queries and correction of inadvertent errors if any”.
Auditors while making an auditing of accounts of the institution pinpoint good points and flag what is wrong, helping the co-op organization in the process, underlined Amin.
Amin showered praise on the credit societies for helping and supporting their members when the Covid-19 Pandemic is wreaking havoc in the entire country. The Federation and Cooperative Union have always been ever ready to render all kinds of help and assistance to the credit societies, he remarked.
Amin also said the credit societies will immensely benefit from such webinars organized by the Federation. Today the experts will educate you with the detailed information and guidance and I urge all the participants to update their knowledge through this webinar, he said.
Amin further stated that the credit societies will be immensely benefited by way of this webinar organized by the Federation and I am confident that this webinar will prove useful to them. He also expressed sincere feelings of thanks to all the participants for attending these webinars. The representatives of various cooperative credit societies and employees’ societies across the Gujarat State attended webinar virtually in large numbers.
In his concluding remarks, Dushyantsingh Vaghela the CEO of the Federation said the credit for holding this webinar goes to Ghanshyambhai Amin, the Chairman of the Federation.
Lauding Amin’s role Vaghela said “Amin always encourages the Federation to organize such webinars.” Vaghela informed that the credit societies which aren’t the members of the Federation can avail the benefits of such programs by way of enrolling themselves as the member of the Federation.
The Gujarat State Cooperative Credit Societies Federation organizes useful and informative training programs for the cooperative credit societies of Gujarat as a part of their concern for these cooperative bodies.
