In its bid to pursue India’s growth trajectory in cooperatives, NCDC has invited professionals from a variety of organizations to come on deputation as Chief Director.
NCDC seeks to recruit as many as eight Chief Directors. The eligible persons should be from Central / State Govt. / Cooperative Organizations/PSU/Autonomous bodies etc. as per its advertisement available on NCDC website.
Speaking to the media, Dr K.T. Chhaneshappa, Executive Director HR of NCDC said NCDC has been getting people from various organizations on deputation basis from time to time. The emphasis of the Government on the farm sector has necessitated recruitment of more professionals through various means such as direct recruitment and deputation. Both the processes are currently underway in NCDC.
Dr Chhaneshappa added that people holding Chief Director analogous posts in the specified organizations or those with 5 years’ service in L-12 posts are eligible to apply. NCDC would give preference to professionals with 10 years’ experience in Cooperative or Finance or Banking sectors. The application deadline is 8 June 2021.
