Bihar Co-op department has hogged media headlines for starting online delivery of vegetables to the residents of two towns-Patna and Motihari. This is such a matter of relief especially in Covid times, said many residents.

One can place their orders from www.tarkarimart.in and he can receive the stuff within 24 hours. Bandana Preyashi, the secretary of the State cooperative department and one of the architects of the idea plans to extend the facility to other towns in the course of time.

CM Nitish Kumar has lauded the initiative of the online vegetables through the co-operative societies.

According to Bandana Preyashi, farmers engaged in vegetable cultivation are being made union members of co-operative society for supplying vegetables from their farms to the customers through the e-commerce facility of the department, media reports quote.
