Encouraged by the field reports on the efficacy of Nano range of fertilizers, IFFCO has embarked on setting up yet another Nano Urea Plant now in Phulpur. The Bhoomi poojan of the same was done virtually.
IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi, Joint MD Rakesh Kapur and other top guns of IFFCO participated in the event virtually due to the Covid compulsions.
It bears recall that IFFCO is gearing up to launch the Nano range commercially from this year. A request to unveil the same has already been made to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Giving information on the Phulpur unit, IFFCO MD tweeted, “It was yet another great day in the history of IFFCO as today we did the Bhoomi Pujan for another IFFCO Nano Urea Plant in Phulpur Unit. The team led by Sanjay Kudesia did all the groundwork for the same. We did virtual inspection.”
The first Nano plant was set up by IFFCO at its mother unit Kalol. The plant, sources say, is on the verge of producing Nano fertilizers commercially.
