He has proved again that he continues to be rooted by winning for the sixth term as the Chairman of Amreli Jilla Madhyastha Sahakari Bank. Arunbhai M Patel has been re-elected unopposed as the Vice-Chairman of the bank.
After the declaration of the results, Sanghani was profusely garlanded and cheered by his supporters. An emotional Sanghani expressed thanks to his supporters. The news of his re-election, spread like wildfire on social media platforms where everyone started congratulating him for his victory.
The IFFCO Managing Director was also among the ones who congratulated Sanghani for becoming yet again the Chairman of the bank. In his tweet the IFFCO MD wrote, ” Heartfelt best wishes to the Vice President of IFFCO Shri @Dileep_Sanghani Ji on being elected unopposed as the President of Amreli Jilla Madhyastha Sahakari Bank for the 6th time. Your successful leadership will strengthen all cooperatives”.
It is said that the election of the board of directors was held several days back but the elections of Chairman and Vice-Chairman were held on Monday at the headquarters located in Amreli. The whole outgoing board has been re-elected unopposed except the two newcomers. The board comprises 21 elected directors and this time five women have secured seats on the board.
Equipped with core banking facilities and having its own IFSC Code, the DCCB can carry out the most complicated banking businesses, Sanghani claimed.
The bank was leading in providing Kisan Credit Cards to the farmers. The bank was also leading in providing coverage of Accident Insurance to its loanee customers. The bank’s audit class is “A” and distributes dividends to the members every year.
The DCCB has about 71 branches and it has registered its presence in the remotest parts of the district.
Sanghani who hails from Amreli district of Gujarat belongs to Bharatiya Janata Party, has a strong hold in this district. He is popular in his areas because of his friendly nature. He had started his political career from here. He is given the credit for strengthening the bank.
