Voice of Sikkim reports the Sahakar Bharati Sikkim Unit organized a two day “Sahakar Bharati Sikkim Rajya Adhiveshan” program in Gangtok. The event was organised in collaboration with the Cooperation Department, Government of Sikkim, National Cooperative Dairy Federation of India (NCDFI), Anand, Gujarat, Sikkim State Cooperative Union (SICUN), and several other local cooperative bodies.
Governor Ganga Prasad graced the inaugural function as the Chief Guest and Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang as the Guest of Honor. The program was also attended by scores of high dignitaries including Minister of Agriculture Lok Nath Sharma.
In his remarks on the occasion the governor praised the efforts put in by Sahakar Bharati in strengthening the cooperative movement in Sikkim.
