PTI reports Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has stressed the need for changing laws related to credit cooperative societies in order to stop swindling of innocent investors through ponzi schemes.
The chief minister has called for legal steps that may change the present laws. Several cooperative officials and dignitaries including Cooperatives Minister Udai Lal Anjana were present in the meeting held in Jaipur.
Ashok Gehlot has asked officials to take strict action against the societies that are cheating investors. He also ordered recovery of the investors’ money.
