PTI reports Maharashtra government’s cooperation department has extended the deadline for cooperative housing societies to finish their audits by December 31 and AGMs by March 31 next year.
According to the dept, societies can take permission from the police or civic body for holding their AGMs.
The dept has also urged them to approach the registrar’s office to complete conveyance deeds of residential housing societies as soon as possible.
