Pioneer reports UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed Agriculture department officials to involve more farmers with farm producer organisations (FPOs).
The chief minister wanted the officials to work on a dept-wise strategy to achieve the objective.
Earlier, Yogi had asked the officials to ensure at least one FPO is formed at block level in all backward districts.
It is being claimed, 2000 FPOs will be established in Uttar Pradesh.
